HERITAGE TOUR 5DAYS FROM AHMEDABAD

Day1: Saturday: AHMEDABAD-MODHERA-PATAN-DHOLAVIRA (340km)

Arrived at Ahmedabad. At about 6.00 a.m. tour start from Railway station.  Proceeds to Modhera  Town 90km.  Fresh up and Breakfast. 

At about 10.00 a.m. visit to  Sun Temple:Modhera Sun temple built in 1026-27 during the reign of King  Bhimadev  of the Chaulukya dynasty. Magnificent  Suryakund, built in rectangular shape containing 108 shrines to various gods.  Designed in the Maru-Gurjara style, the temple follows a three-tiered structure consisting of the Sabha Mandap (assembly hall), the Guda Mandap (sanctum sanctorum), and the  water Kund.

At about 12.00 hrs. Proceeds to Patan (50km/1hr). Visit to Rani-ki-Vav.This stepwell built  in 1063 by Rani Udaymati to commemorate her husband King Bhimdev. This stepwell  buried under silt and discover in 1940. Archeological survey of India restored it in 1980. Reserve bank of India printed picture on Rs.100 Notes.    

At about  2.00 p.m. proceeds to the 3rd UNESCO world heritage site -Dholavira. (190Km). Check  in  Mud Hut  locally known as a Bhunga. Dinner and night stay at Dholavira.

Day2:SundayDHOLAVIRA- ROAD THROUGH HEAVEN-KAROO DUNGAR–RANN UTSAV

After breakfast visit to Museum & Excavation site  . Dholavira is one of the two largest Indo-Civilization sites which  shows   heritage, culture and traditional of four thousand years ago.  It is  known for its sophisticated urban planning, advanced water management system and unique architecture, including the use of stone instead of brick in construction

Road to haven:Discover Kutch^s newest scenic GemThis 30 km road   constructed between Island  Khadir and  main land Khavda. This route offers  views that will leave you spellbound.

KarooDungar: Highest point of Kutch (440ft).Magnetic field and Guru Dattadrya Temple.

 Rann Utsav :  An annual  culture extravaganza that transform the  white salt  desert  into dazzling  kaleidoscope of  music-dance, traditional-heritage  and  adventure  activates. Breathtaking  beauty of White Rann. Sunset views.

Night stay  at White Rann.  Private   Non-AC Tent.

Day3: Monday

At about 6.30 a.m. Sunrise .Breakfast. Proceeds to Bhuj.  En-route visit Nirona Village. In village we see unique Rogan prints done by hand. Copper Bell and wooden art artists. At 3.00 p.m. Aina Mahal – Prag Mahal   and   swami Narayan Temple.

Night stay at Bhuj. Prince Residency. AC Room

Day4: Tuesday: BHUJ-MANDVI 210Km

After breakfast   visit to   Smrutivan(Earthquake Museum) built  on Bhujiyo Hill in memory of devastating  2001 earthquake. Then proceeds to Mandvi. 65Km

Today  we will  visit  Vijaya Vilash Palace: The summer  palace of  Maharao  of  Kutch  located on the beach  – famous for film  suiting  and  pre-wedding soot. Then will go to Mandvi Beach.

Evening at Mandvi Beach. Today enjoy street food like Dabelli, Bhel,  Ice cream.

Return to our  Bhuj Hotel

Day5: Wednesday : Handicrafts Tour. Bhuj-Gandhidham-Ahemdabad-380Km.

Today visit to  some villages toget firsthand experience and life style of Kutchi people. Bhujodi-Azarkhapur-Dhamkada-Anjar and   Gandhidham. All villages have their unique   handicraft.  Tour ends  with happy memories.

Drop at Kandala Airport OR Gandhidham  Railway station  for onward journey to Banglore/Nagpur/Delhi. OR drop at Ahemadabad Railway Station
